Back at school from labor day weekend

So today I was taken back to school, stayed up late, then was driven at like 12:30 am. Came to school around, hmm i think it was about 2:15am.

julie and julia, plus a day of confusion

First of all i'ld just like to apologize to my blog, sorry I havent written anything on here, I told my self that I would try to blog at least once a week. And also blog for myself since I need to work on writing things that come out of my head and properly put them into words.

Today my mother and I went to go see the new film "Julie and Julia" omg it was wonderful!! I havent really been that happy seeing a movie in a while. I must say that Meryl plays a wonderful Julia Childs, and the main character Julie has really brought up my passion for cooking again.

Little does anyone know before I became the highly competitive, very intelligent, college bound and bachelor degree set girl, I was once a very little girl sitting in middle school defending her right to go off to culinary school. All I wanted to do in life was to bake pastries and various types of bread for the rest of my life. My teachers and my mother kept opposing and telling me that before i could do all of this, i must get a formal education. And with it they blocked me from my dreams of cordon bleu, and going to the culinary institute of california. My mother spent days telling me to go to college, go to college. Finally I broke down and my dreams of culinary school faded away, and replaced with constant stress of deciding which college i was going to. I was only a middle-school kid almost giving herself an ulcer just deciding which school i was going to!

My life

My life is a mess right now.  Things with the family. Things with friends. Being heartbroken, or at least crushed by someone I really really like. I don't even know if he like me back, I think we'd be perfect, but my hopes are breaking. This is not a good time in my life right now. I need to be happy, I need to smile and laugh more.

Basket weaving!!

OMG, basket weaving is so much fun I had to start another one. This time I used a different weave and water-colored the binder paper I'm using.

First day of classes at SFSU!

OMG that was intense one right after another, but the good thing is getting them all done at once basically. My first class oral communications was easy we just went over the syllabus and did this activity to get to know your class mates. The teacher in that class is somewhat of a push over so I'm not that scared of her. Elementary Statistics is next and that is taught by this old russian guy who went over the syllabus once and told us he was gonna take attendance once, then went straight into lecture of the basics of statistics. I don't know he sounds like he's gonna be pretty hard, but we'll see. My next class was astronomy which apparently i failed to notice that there are a lot of people in. We sat in kind of stadium seats in the class room and he was soo happy to be teaching it again, and told us to imagine we were in a space ship going through the galaxy's in his lecture. It makes me pretty nostalgic for my former days of science nerd. So yeah that's how my first/second day of classes went.

I'm Here Now SFSU!!!

YAY!!

 I moved in Yesterday I had to move all my crap from the car into the dorm 4 floors up!!! But I'm here and I met some really cool people, my dormmate and i get along and the people in the dorms around us also get along really well. I got up at 4:30a.m. and we started driving by 5:30a.m. and got here by like 7:15a.m. so we were waiting around until I found somebody to give me the forms and the keys to move in at 9:00a.m. A couple of loads of my crap later I was moved in. And in a matter of hours my dormmate came from LA at like 2:00p.m. So now I know a lot of people!!!

Yay! My mom is super awesome!!! She helped my dormroom and outfitted me with a new mini fridge, a electric teakettle(it's red and uber cute), and a matress cover!!! thank's mom for making my dorm a little more liveable!!

I'm definately gonna enjoy the stuff!!!

man.... gonna move into my dorm soon, i'm still trying to pack and clean my room. But i can't stop crocheting my blanket i've started ill call it my stress blanket.
